Alana provides individual assessment and movements for what I need each day. I appreciate the written practice and homework to remind me of the movements between sessions.

Do you experience chronic pain or limited mobility? Would you like a customized SomaYoga practice created specifically for what you experience in your body to help you manage, reduce or resolve discomfort?
Alana will meet with you for an initial 90 minute session during which time your specific health concerns will be discussed followed by a breath and movement practice customized to your needs. Follow up sessions 60 minutes in length.
Each private class will create calmness and ease for those experiencing chronic pain as a result of high levels of stress due to work, “life”, illness or injury. You will be provided a detailed customized yoga therapy program to practice at home at the end of each class.
Please note there is a 24 hour cancellation policy to avoid incurring a fee equal to that of a private session.

I invite you to join me in these Somatic Movement practices where you will learn to turn your attention inward. You will gain greater awareness of how to sense and move your muscles reducing movement restrictions as you restore healthy muscle function.
This gentle and effective practice improves your health, comfort and freedom which in turn will create more choice and variation in your life. You will be provided with practices empowering you to take care of your health.

The fee for this series is reduced from $80 to a suggested $40, however, no one will be turned away from class for not having the financial means to pay the full amount. If you are able to, I truly appreciate your willingness to support the classes. If you are not able to pay the full amount at this time, please pay what you can. These group classes incorporate somatic movement as well as breath practices and meditation. They will bring your awareness to muscles that may be held in a habituated state of contraction causing tension and discomfort. This practice of movement awareness allows for the muscles to release, relax and find balance to improve your wellbeing.
You will receive detailed information as well as an audio recording of what we practiced after each class to help you develop your home practice.
